The annual “Food Roundup” has successfully united churches, businesses, and other friends to collect much needed food, supplies and gift cards for Baptist Children's Homes' boys and girls. Many residents come to us unchurched. Not only do you help provide children nutritious meals, but you show them God's love.
Feeding a family of any size is costly. When one of Baptist Children’s Homes’ children’s cottages is full it can house as many as 10 children and two houseparents, which equates to a family of 12. An average of 16 residents live at one of our Family Care cottages, BCH’s statewide homes for single mothers and their children.
For more information about how you, your church or organization can be a part of Food Roundup, contact Alan Williams at 1-800-476-3669 ext. 1277 or email him at .
2019 Friends of Children Workdays
Saturday, May 25
Saturday, September 21
Is your church or organization looking for a one-day missions opportunity that is local and offers something for all ages?
Baptist Children's Homes is hosting Saturday “Friends of Children” (FOC) workdays at Odum Home in the spring and fall of this year. Your church group will be able to directly impact the Odum Home ministry serving hurting children and families. It’s the perfect way to make a difference within our North Carolina mission field.
A free lunch is served.
All types of project are available. It will be a great day of fellowship, work and food! We also ask individuals to prayer walk the campuses and pray for our children and staff throughout the day. This is an excellent opportunity to introduce others to the exciting work going on at Baptist Children's Homes and Odum Home in Pembroke.
